National Gallery of Art 

The National Gallery of Art allows you to interact with some of the greatest artists of our time.  Users become the artists in the interactive “Art Room”, mirroring the techniques of the masters and creating original works of art.  The site is made just for kids and the creators invite children to send feedback.  Art teachers will also find much to love here.

The Museum of Modern Art   

The Museum of Modern Art is an invaluable place that we are so fortunate to have access to. And while nothing can stand in for actually being there, their website makes a good go at the whole electronic gallery.   While there are web projects specifically designed for kids, teens, and families, the main value to this site is the ability to browse the collection.

Metropolitan Museum of Art 

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York “Museum Kids” site includes interactive pages allowing children explore artists and work such as Gilbert Stuart, the Unicorn Tapestries, and Vincent van Gogh.  In addition many of the museums works are shown through virtual tours and include information about the artists, work, and provenance of the pieces. 

Playmusic 

A fun site to explore orchestra instruments, such as brass, percussion, woodwinds, and strings.  Listen to audio clips or use the jukebox to listen to student performances. 

U.S. Soccer Federation.

The official site of U.S. soccer and the U.S. men’s and women’s World Cup teams.  Good for scores, schedules, coaching and refeerring information.

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) 

The FIFA is the governing body of world soccer’s official site, and features news, including coverage of 2010 World Cup (Men’s) qualifying rounds, schedules, statistics, and lots more.  The U.S.page on fifa.com mainly focuses on World Cup qualifying coverage. 

NFL Rush

The official site of the NFL (National Football League) for Kids.  Games, fun facts about NFL players, news, statistics, and fan information. 

NHL for Kids

The National Hockey League web site for kids. Hockey science, player profiles, trivia, games, and video clips.

NBA for Kids
Learn all about your favorite teams and players in the National Basketball League.  This site re-directs visitors to the official kids pages at all of professional teams.

USA Gymnastics

Learn all about your favorite gymnasts.  

Magic Tricks for Kids

With a little practice, anyone can be an Amazing Magician! Learn to do a magic tricks by watching video clips of a real magician, Ryan Oakes.  Includes impressive magic tricks for beginners, intermediate, and expert magicians.
